So it's December and getting really cold...and the push is on!

 We met with the builder just after Thanksgiving...Finalized most of the plans...Now just waiting on the loan and a start date!!

The pad is 100% flat and has a great rock base! Great work! Looking like lots of progress!

We are really getting excited...but the weather is getting really cold! Gotta check on the permits, building plans, and lots of other to dos!

Distruction is his middle name!!

So the cave goes away!

And I start getting nervous as the front goes down and the back comes up!

Man...that's one deep hole!

In November...We made a few changes!

We have the building site somewhat level! Wow, it's really starting to become a reality!



Jason is hard at measuring for the pad! Walking it off wasn't working..had to go find a tape measure!

And a little help..4 guys are better than one?!?!

Then the ultimate decision to get rid of the cellar! Boo Hoo..oh well, it was a good idea, but better safe than sorry! Don't need anymore headaches than we already have! Right!?!

Jason takes one last look, we have a final discussion, and ...it's out of here!

And if it doesn't fall in on us, we will use every last piece we can salvage!



We have become quite the weekend "firomaniacs!"  Just don't have time for the hot dogs & marshmallows!

It's Combine Day!
Finally the boys get to cut the wheat and WE get to start some dirtwork!
