The interior tin is finally complete! It really looks different now with solid walls and a ceiling!
This is the East wall!
The Southeast corner of the shop!
The entry door from the shop to the living quarters!
and the wash bay! Jason couldn't wait to get his tractors inside!

There goes the trees!
Jason starts cutting down the trees along the west bank of the property so we can get it sloped to mow easier!
Doug Kramer finishes taking out the stumps and slopes the bank! Wow, what a difference!
It's all graded so the mower will go down the property line easily!
Looks great! Got rid of all the trash trees and now we can move the water line so we can complete the lateral field.

Then comes the SEPTIC!
The septic tank is set after much digging by Doug Kramer! Man, he makes it look easy!
Jason works on hooking up the lines and putting dirt over by hand!
Jason continues to fill in by hand while Doug backfills around the tank!
The guys...admiring their work! A tube is placed in top of the tank to help locate it and keep others from driving over it!
We tested to make sure the grade was right and filled it a bit with water to make sure it didn't float up in case of rain.
All filled in and another project to mark off the list!

The insulation goes in!
We blew in the insulation on the east wall of the shop! What a hot, dirty mess!
It took a few days, but finally finished!
Then we used rolled insulation to insulate the wash bay! Can you say ITCHY!

Now it's time for INSULATION!
Jason returns from yet another trip to Menards! This time he has the insulation and blower!
We take a minute to enjoy our birds! We have at least one pair of finches! We have also seen an oriole, a blue bird, and yes we even have sparrows and pigeons!
Since the blower isn't working Jason takes a few minutes to clean up the big pieces of concrete the truck dumped in the drive!
Ron stops by on his way back from a car show! This is his "baby"!
Then Jason catches this bullfrog while mowing the lot in front of the old barn! I figure why not..the princess found her prince when she kissed the frog...right!?!
I held the frog, just in case he is the prince...LOL while my other prince mows his pond! The front yard still needs a bunch of work to keep it from holding water every time it rains!
Then we hang the plastic for the insulation!
Have the whole East wall finished! What a day! Busy Busy as always..is it Monday yet? I'm ready to go back to work! LOL
Now all we have to do is take the broken blower back and get one that really works!
Jason's mom decided we need some protection! She brought some medallions and holy water to ward of the evil spirits! Seems like our bad luck just keeps rearing it's ugly head! First the building not being at the right height, then the concrete not being level, now the insulation blower doesn't work...Hope this does!

Then the Shop side gets Concrete!
The pumper truck set up bright and early for day #2!
They start on the shop area! Looks like it's going fast!
They are moving right along! The wash bay is finished!
The pumper is pushing concrete as fast as they can spread it out!
The shop is finally finished! We have concrete all the way through!
Shiny and New! Looks alot different from a dirt and rock floor!
Jason took some of the extra concrete and formed up a stepping stone!
Now that the concrete is done, we can complete the wiring and get the garage doors on!
It looks a little uneven, but at least we have concrete!
The hoist is set! We are on to the next project on the list! Garage doors and wiring, then the interior tin goes up! Making lots of progress this week!

The Living Quarters gets CONCRETE!
They are power troweling the concrete in my shop area!
Looks like alot of work to me! They are dragging the concrete forward!
They about have the bedroom done!
Then they finish the edge!
Do some touch up work around the sewer lines!
And it's a finished product!
Now we just wait for it to dry!
Here's the pumper truck responsible for pumping the concrete to the back of the shop!

The Pex continues!
The shop floor has been covered in Pex! Concrete is here and ready to pour the living quarters!
They start in the back (my shop)!
And work toward the front door!
The concrete is colored brown! It will be the finished floor!
Jason organized the pex tubing as it comes up from the floor to the boiler! What a bunch of tubing!
It should be just inside the wall so the boiler can be mounted above them!
